That Beautiful Day

Valentines day nearly here,
Red Hearts all around,
Reminders of that beautifull day,
Jessicas Smiles ,
Beautiful eyes ,
sweet sweet dress,
Jessica and Jason saying their vows.
A tumbling kaleidoscope of memories,
brides maids striding in,
elegant perfection,
so happy to share and support,
flower girls , nervous at rehearsal
now never missing a beat,
Those vows,
promises ,
hopes for the future,
who ever knows?
step out in faith,
Jessica and Jason
as Mr and Mrs J & J Horton,
Coming forward to meet us.
First hugs for Mum
a sharing of a moment
that may never have come,
All of us there sharing that time,
holding on tight to that embrace.
Then the Ball,
Jessica and Jason swirling around,
It was a beautiful day
Jessicas dad swinging her to the beat
The bridal waltz,
eating, laughing sharing the joy,
encircling the couple with our selves and our love,
another round of joyous cuddles
and then they were off.
Every red heart balloon,
reminding us now,
of Jessicas journey.
Is she so far away,
I some how feel,
she's still with us today.
