I just wanted to say hello incase any other young patients were looking at site. it is great. I originally looked about a year and a half ago when diagnosed with secondary breast cancer at 23 in one shot - and no I'm am not interested in the breast cancer club. I am interested in people going through incurable cancer (all cancer sux)
(to jason) - Anyway I was sad when found site shortly after jess passed away. Her writting is fabulous and I am very impressed with the site. I'd love to know how to make such a thing. Anyway I'd like to be a member so that this fab site can continue being was it was set out to be.
I have found it hard to find people my age with a similiar health condition. I don't live in a large or massive city I live in Rockhampton CQ, I'm not familiar with the population but bris is bigger, has better food and hippy activities! but I do love where I am and being back with family relaxing (not working). At chemo they are mostly older, at least over 50 and in chatty phone group for BCA (statewide link up) they are all over 45 or 50 - which is fine but my view on issues, experiences/ problems and reactions, and body can be different.
So hello to people at a similiar young age when everyone you know (and yours should be) life is starting and you have to let go of your long time dreams/ career, and baby/ family developments, and myself personally also romantic marketability as don't want to tie an extra pain into my death and really dont feel that attractive anyway - FT perve
ok bye
