Hi,

I have just watched the story on ABC and had to post a message.

Jessica was the most inspirational young women. She fought so hard and touched so many hearts on her journey.

I recently lost a friend to cancer who also fought for many years to overcome it, he was only 40 when he died, leaving a beautiful little daughter behind. This is the first time l have been able to talk about this loss. I never told my friend how much l loved him, but l think he knew, l hope so. He also like Jessica asked in the last few days for no visitors as he wanted people to remember the fun loving person he was.

Thank you so much for keeping this site going. It has allowed me to let out my grief when l thought l had come to terms with the loss of a wonderful friend. I may have tears flowing but they are also happy tears.

Thank you again.

Thank you for your supportive comments - this is exactly why Jessica started this site and why she wanted it to continue.

Please feel free to talk about anything that is troubling you, or anything you might feel could be helpful to others, that's what this place is for.

Hello Everyone,

I also have watched Jessica's story today and have to say what a strong Woman she is. I have never lost anyone from cancer so I have no idea what it is like for those who have but I was so drawn to Jessica's story. I am not one to cry but I was in tears for a good hour after the show ended.

All the best to Jessica's family in the new year and take care.

:) I wonder if being able to share the loss of you friend with this forum has since helped you to talk to other people around you about it. If so I am sure Jessica would have felt pleased that her work continues to help in many ways.
